      Answers:

If you chose mostly A’s, you belong in “Downton Abbey.” You embody class, and you’re always aware of the impression you give off. You like to host formal events (mostly so you can show off your formal dining room). You find comfort in antiques and collecting pieces that have a story. Each room of your home is full of items from different periods of history, and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you chose mostly B’s, you belong in “Game of Thrones.” You are a tough person, and you love battle scenes almost as much as you love dragons. You like to decorate with darker colors and love the cool touch of stone walls. Your favorite space is probably your living room, where you claim the best chair every day (despite others trying to steal it from you). Winter is coming, but you don’t mind the cold.

If you chose mostly C’s, you belong in “House of Cards.” You know what you want, and you’re willing to do whatever it takes to get it. You are full of passion and drive, and you don’t like distractions—which is why your home is full of neutrals. You’re a minimalist through and through, so you decorate with cool steel accessories and light-colored walls. You won’t let anything slow you down!

If you chose mostly D’s, you belong in “Mad Men.” You are flashy, creative, and hardworking, which shows in your home. You strive to find the perfect accent pieces to bring any room to the next level. A bright purple lamp here, a teal pillow there, and your regular house becomes a stylish home.

If you chose mostly E’s, you belong in “Modern Family.” There is nothing more important to you than family—not work, power, or even friends. The first people you turn to when you have a problem are your parents, siblings, and kids. This is echoed in your decor, because you choose comfort over style. Some might say you have a typical suburban house, but to you, it’s much more than that—it’s a place to display your family photos and creations for everyone to admire. And, yes, you still have your thirty-year-old’s artwork on the fridge…

Carrie, Seinfeld, and Friends: NYC Apartments Straight From the Screen.

      November 4, 2014 By CENTURY 21

It’s the city that never sleeps, the concrete jungle where dreams are made up, and the backdrop for so many iconic television shows and movies. If you take a walk or hail a cab you may spot one of these iconic apartments.

      1. Carrie Bradshaw wrote, slept, and stored sweaters in the oven of this charming West Village townhouse. We can picture her falling in love, hosting Miranda, Samantha, and Charlotte, and storing her Manolos here. We had to find an image of the townhouse next door because the Google Street View is blurred out for privacy reasons.

      2. You could find Holly Golightly sleeping in this Lexington Avenue apartment with Cat. We could just imagine Ms. Golightly sitting on windowsill, singing Moon River. It’s the perfect place for any rising star to throw a party.

      3. Whatever you do, don’t go upstairs. Miranda Priestly lived in this Upper East Side apartment and would commute to Runway Magazine to wreck havoc on Andy, Emily, and the rest of her team. That’s all.

      4. Monica’s rent controlled apartment was the perfect spot for all of her Friends. The gang (and a few ducks) lived in this Greenwich Village building. Note: Don’t rearrange Monica’s furniture.

      5. There’s no need to be mad. When he wasn’t busy at Sterling Cooper & Partners, creating the best ads in the business, or visiting his wife Megan on the West Coast, Don Draper lived lavishly in this apartment building located in Greenwich Village.

No matter where you go in New York City, there is bound to be a familiar apartment that brings nostalgic memories of your favorite television characters.

5 Gadgets Every Man Cave Needs

      September 17, 2014 By CENTURY 21

It’s finally football season! Time to get the “man cave” in good shape for watching football. Setup your “man cave” with the technology you need to see and hear every single touchdown.

Here are five gadgets every “man cave” needs.

      1. A Big Screen TV: Score some points when you host fantasy football, game nights, or movie nights. Project the big game on a big screen.

      2. TV Wireless Headphones: Watch the game as loud as you want with wireless headphones. You’ll be able to hear every call – without disrupting the rest of your family.

      3. Mini Fridge: Keep your favorite beverages within arm’s reach. Use the top of the mini fridge to store chips, popcorn, jerky and other snacks.

      4. A Massage Recliner: Kick back and relax while you watch the kickoff. Some recliners have a built in massager or a built in cooler. Add a large couch and you and your bros will have room to chill.

      5. Grill: You’ve got a beverage and snacks, and now you need some grub. In an ideal maniverse (man-universe) you’d have easy access to the patio and your outdoor grill. If this isn’t the case in your man cave, you can buy a small grill for making burgers or burritos.

Now all you have to do is call up your friends and invite them over to your place. You’ll love having an area of the home to truly call your own. Crush some beverages in the comfort of your macho (and hi-tech) “man cave.”

Oh, That’s Scandalous: Dirty Little Secrets

      February 26, 2014 By CENTURY 21

We didn’t think it would be possible to “cope without Pope (Scandal)” but we’ve gotten this far. It has been too long since the last episode, so we’ve put together a refresher course full of the most scandalous moments so far, and the CENTURY 21® homes where the Scandal could have occurred.

SPOILER ALERT: If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t seen the first three seasons of Scandal watch them before you read this. Seriously. Shut it down. Go watch.

      It’s handled? Read on.

      1. Olivia turns on the TV only to find that Jake has surveillance videos of her – a dramatic end to an otherwise perfect date. Hate when that happens…

      Here

      2. The Rose Garden scene where Fitz professes his love to Olivia and says that he belongs to her.

      Here

      3. The Cabal meets to discuss Defiance.

      Here

      4.Olivia and Fitz conserve water.

      Here

      5. Olivia Pope and Associates, aka where the gladiators live and everything gets handled.

      Here

      6. Fitz flies Olivia to Vermont so that she can see the home that he built for her and their future children. As he says, “This was going to be you and me raising a family and growing old together in this house.” Their romantic rendezvous proves that Vermont really is for lovers.

      Here

      7. Olivia storms the Oval Office to set the record straight with Fitz. She tells him what she wants, “If you want me, earn me.” Olivia goes back to her apartment (possibly to try on yet another beautiful coat or drink wine out of one of her unusually large wine glasses) and Fitz shows up so that she can watch him earn her. They sit for 22 minutes so that she can watch him choose her – risking both his presidency and his marriage.

      Here

      8. Sally Langston, aka the vice president, tells the president she quits and plans to run against him as an Independent. She then goes home, kills her husband, and calls Cyrus to tell him that she has committed a sin.

      Here

      9. Mama Pope hijacks a plane en route to Hong Kong then shows up at the White House (an amazing place for someone on the FBI’s Most Wanted List for a traitor to visit) to call her daughter to tell her, “Don’t worry, sweetheart. I’ll see you real soon.” We also learn where Olivia Pope got her fantastic taste in white coats.

      Here

      10. The president puts Rowan behind bars and Jake becomes Command of B613. We may be seeing Jake in Wonderland this upcoming season, and, Nobody Comes Back From Wonderland. Either Olivia and Jake’s relationship is over or she’ll be saying Welcome to Wonderland this season.

      Here

We will be watching to see how the Scandal unfolds.

What are your favorite moments from Scandal?

Living in a House of Cards: Studies to Scheme In

      February 14, 2014 By CENTURY 21

As the wise Francis Underwood once said, “Power’s a lot like real estate: It’s all about location, location, location. The closer you are to the source, the higher your property value (House of Cards).” Francis knows power best, last we checked, “He’s got power. He’s got a lot to lose. And he’s winning (House of Cards).”

These CENTURY 21® listed studies are perfect for plotting revenge or preparing to be the Vice President even if you don’t believe that “there is but one rule: hunt or be hunted (House of Cards),” or that “democracy is so overrated (House of Cards).”

      1. We think that Francis and Claire can be found scheming late at the night in this study. As he says, “I love that woman. I love her more than sharks love blood (House of Cards).” The couple that schemes together, stays together.

      2. We can picture Francis and Doug playing chess and plotting here. Check mate.

      3. Francis can be found swapping secrets with Zoe in this spacious study.

      4. Congressmen always have large offices like this one, but Francis’ is about to get much larger when he goes from the Capital to the West Wing.

Grab your provisions and settle in to watch all 780 minutes of season two.

We want to hear from you! Which study is your favorite?
