Eagan is a family friendly suburb less than 20 minutes from St. Paul and Minneapolis and is filled with a combination of lush wooded areas, beautiful rolling hills, lakes and ponds, as well as lovely residential areas and well planned commercial and industrial areas. In the summer and fall, residents enjoy Eagan’s Market Fest, a Wednesday night farmer market festival and Cascade Bay, the largest water park in the state. Once the Onion Capital of the United States, Eagan is now the 8th largest city in the state and the 4th largest suburb in the Twin Cities. While primarily a commuter city, Eagan is home to Thomas Rueters (Eagan’s largest employer), Blue Cross Blue Shield, a Unisys data center, the largest UPS distribution center in the state, Coca Cola midwest bottling plant, Ecolab, and Prime Therapeutics. Eagan will soon be home to an upscale outlet mall scheduled to open in the summer of 2014.
